“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.” |
Holly Rochford is an RN with many years of clinical experience followed by extensive training as a Quality & Patient Safety Specialist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Loma Linda University School of Nursing and worked at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California for almost 20 years. In 2017, she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. Quickly realizing there is more to treatment and recovery than what traditional medicine has to offer, she began researching complementary therapies and luckily found “The Metabolic Approach to Cancer” early in her journey, which changed her whole view of health and healing. Inspired by the book, she began researching and studying various integrative modalities including the ketogenic diet, medical cannabis and various practices for stress reduction to address issues in her own terrain. Her passion for patient care and patient education drove her to pursue Terrain Advocate training through Nasha Winters, ND, FABNO and the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health (MTIH) so she could share the metabolic approach with others seeking to navigate the confusion that comes with a cancer diagnosis and to support the healing actions needed for each unique individual. Along with becoming a Certified Terrain Advocate, Holly has completed Comprehensive Cannabis Nursing Education through Radicle Health, Professional Training in LCHF for Nurses through Nutrition Network/The Noakes Foundation and is currently enrolled in Advanced Nutrigenomic Training through Nutrition Genome. With training in both conventional and alternative healing, she has the knowledge and skills to bridge the gap between such seemingly different approaches. In-between caring for her chickens, her organic garden and traveling to Colorado to see family, she supports clients virtually from her home in Corrales, New Mexico. She is excited to be working with MTIH practitioners to help implement integrative treatment plans, and to empower their clients in taking control of their health by providing high-quality, personalized support in making lasting lifestyle changes.
